The infant acne occurs on the faces of many babies. This is a common problem in the newborn babies. The infant acne is seen in between the three and four weeks of age. The infant acne is temporary acne. The infant acne is caused by natural process in the baby's system. The infant acne is appear 20 percent of newborn babies. The infant acne is mainly appear in the male babies than female babies. The infant acne in the newborn is not a serious condition. The infant acne is caused by harmones, dirty, oily skin. The baby acne may not go away on its own for several months. The infant acne have the symtomps like red bump, rough skin, pain, irritated, swelling. Prevention for Infant Acne
- Don't wash and scrub by using moisturizers and other creams and lotions which can make baby acne worse.
- Try not to squeeze, scratch, pick the pimples.
- Gentle cleansing with water alone.
- Try to take many pictures before the baby acne begins.
- Don't use over-the-counter acne medicines.
- Avoid touching your face with your hands or fingers.
- Use soft cloth and mild soap for cleaning.
- Take care not to overheat your baby.
- Talk to your health care professional.
